To celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Czechoslovakia, we are organising
a CZECHOSLOVAK DAY
When? 16th June 2018 at 1pm
Where? St George Community Center, St George Library and St George Park, Bristol
Programme will include:

Planting a descendant of the famous Singing Lime Tree from Teleci in the Czech Republic as part of the ‘Trees of Liberty’ initiative

Performances and exhibition of pupils’ work from the Czech & Slovak School Bristol

Czech and Slovak music performances for children and adults ‘Singing with Masaryk’
-
Live music - Duoband
-
Meet the author: Slovakia: The Legend of the Linden
-
Exhibition ‘Here the New Republic’ lent to us by the National Pedagogical Museum and the Library of J.A. Komensky
-
Special guests will include a representative from the Czech Embassy in the UK

Activities for children, bouncy castle, candyfloss
-
Craft fair by Czech and Slovak artists (Lucilak)

Stall with Czech food (Czechland)
-
BBQ - pork specialities, ... (Zabíjačkové špeciality a ine dobroty)
It will be a great family event and we hope you can join us.
